[Madison, Wisc…] The John K. MacIver Institute for Public Policy has named Sean Lansing as Communications Director. Lansing, a 2008 UW-Madison graduate, has held numerous positions at the state Capitol and on political campaigns, including stints with the Assembly Majority Leader and Eric Hovde’s campaign for US Senate.

“We’re excited to bring Sean on board,” said Brett Healy, MacIver Institute President. “He will play a crucial role in publicizing the public policy research and investigative reporting that has become a hallmark of MacIver’s work in Wisconsin.”

Brian Fraley, MacIver’s Communications Director since the Institute’s founding in 2009, has been named a Senior Fellow for the Institute. Fraley was recently named the Managing Editor of RightWisconsin.com.

“We are happy for Brian and the new opportunity before him,” said Healy. “I’m pleased he remains a part of our efforts here at MacIver and all of us are excited about what the future holds.”
