[Madison, Wisc…] Governor Scott Walker announced Friday morning that Wisconsin will defer to the federal government on the implementation of health care exchanges in the Badger State.Today marked the original deadline each state to notify the federal government concerning its intentions, but the Department of Health and Human Services extended the date to December 14th earlier this week.
Groups and activists across Wisconsin have been split on whether it would be best for the federal government or the state to manage the exchanges.
