The Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center, which earned the monicker “Candyland” when its deadly overprescribing of opioids was exposed – still has troubles. In December, MacIver reported that a sharp temperature spike may have compromised sensitive drugs at the pharmacy there. New information sheds light on the meltdown – and indicates the facility may have something to hide.
