Steve Nagy fled communism in his native Hungary in the 1950s, right on the heels of the takeover of his family’s foodservice businesses by communist thugs. Over the decades since, Nagy has worked hard to achieve the American Dream, opening and running a successful wedding barn business. But now, a legislative committee many believe is rigged in favor of established alcohol and hospitality industry interests is eyeing new regulations that threaten to make history repeat itself.
