[Madison, Wisc…] Representatives Samantha Kerkman (R-Powers Lake) and Dean Kaufert (R-Neenah) have introduced two bills that aim to reform Wisconsin’s FoodShare program. Kerkman’s bill, Assembly Bill 82, proposes that buying and selling of FoodShare benefits be illegal, while Kaufert’s bill, Assembly Bill 110, would create a pilot program that limits what food can be purchased with a FoodShare card. Each bill is in addition to the current reforms proposed by Governor Scott Walker in his budget.
