[Madison, Wisc…] Scott Drenkard, Economist at the Tax Foundation, sat down with the MacIver Institute recently to discuss the elimination of Wisconsin’s personal property tax, which collects $270 million a year for the state. The tax is on businesses for items such as office furniture and machinery. Drenkard discusses Indiana and Michigan as two good examples of states that eliminated the tax recently.
