Gordon Hintz, Assembly Minority Leader and member of the Wisconsin Center board, doesn’t think much of labor reform laws passed in Wisconsin, one of which bars so-called “labor peace agreements.” In fact he suggested the board pursue such an agreement and opposed the hiring of a non-union security firm at a recent meeting. A Madison city attorney had to remind them that giving union shops exclusive access to public projects is illegal now.
